The ACCESS 2019 event, Thursday-Friday (May 9-10), facilitates and promotes annual student and professional oral and poster research around coastal and estuarine science.

This year’s Special Sessions are focused on coastal habitat restoration, climate change adaptation, and Indigenous-led coastal research.

The Cold Regions Living Shorelines Community of Practice (CRLS CoP), and ACCESS (Atlantic Canada Coastal & Estuarine Science Society) are launching the Climate-Resilient Coastal Natural Infrastructure Workshop & ACCESS 2019 joint-event, hosted by TransCoastal Adaptations: Centre for Nature-Based Solutions operating out of Saint Mary’s University.

This joint- event takes place from Monday, May 6th – Friday, May 10th with an overnight fieldtrip to a managed dyke realignment site the weekend prior.

Free Public & Practitioner Tech-Vendor Trade Show and Reception on Wednesday, May 8th, the day of overlap between both events.

This synergistic Tech-Vendor Trade Show will offer live demonstrations, promotions, and applied posters around the latest tech required to undertake nature-based solutions to climate change, along with multidisciplinary networking opportunities. The Tech-Vendor Trade Show runs all day, with an open Reception from 16:30-18:00.
